The main team consists of Will Simpson & Chris Elkington but other workers are also employed as needed for general ground work & labour. Will & Chris are both full qualified in every aspect of their work & both hold CS3.0, CS3.1, CS38, CS39 and UA Qualifications as well as chipper licence & waste carriers licence. Arbre Care also holds 5 million pounds in public liability insurance and 10 million pounds employers liability insurance, so you have peace of mind when we are working on your premises. We own all the equipment needed for 90% of our jobs so the costs are less for the customer as hire charges for additional tools & equipment do not apply. |

Here we see Chris crown lifting a clients tree, this is where the lower branches are cut & thinned out, raising the branch line of the tree either to improve the look of the tree or for health & safety reasons where low branches would be a risk or for vehicle access. In the U.K. common practice dictates clearance for vehicles is 5.2 metres (~17 feet), & for pedestrians 2.5m (~8 feet). It can also bring extra sunlight to the area under the tree so to encourage new grass / plant growth. |

A crown reduction is carried out to reduce the overall size & spread of the tree by a certain amount. The operation is carried out by pruning the tips of each branch back to a suitable branch union in a manner which creates a balanced shape & outline. The reduction specification can be described as a percentage (for example “reduce the crown by 30%”), an absolute amount (for exmple “reduce the crown by 3 metres”) or a target height & spread (“reduce the crown to leave the tree 18 metres high & with a crown radius of 6 metres”). |

We also offer a stump grinding service, so once that troublesome tree is cut down, the stump can then be ground away so that the ground can be used for other purposes. To the left is one of our workers performing this service on several tree stumps in a customers garden. |

To the left is our LDV van with large trailer with tipping capabilities. This enables us to deposit your woodchip or logs where ever you would like them. Our Timberwolf 150 DHB chipper also enables us to chip any wood & plant debris on site which helps us to remove it in bulk, quickly & easily. |
